We asked our players to share a few words - here’s what they had to say.

"I started playing for Barnston at the start of last season playing with the u16s on a Sunday and sometimes stepping in to help the u18s as well, before shortly stepping into men’s football for the first time when I turned 16 not long after the start of the season, started playing consistently in the reserves last year getting to know what men’s football is all about whilst getting a few opportunities to step up and play with the first team, last season was very successful for me in men’s football and youth football for barnston when performing well with the u16s but also helping the reserves reach a cup final, I’m staying consistent with my football making regular appearances for the first team and the u18s hoping for another successful year with all teams and looking forward to seeing what the future holds at Barnston."
