Directions

Barnston AFC is situated just off the old A130, now the B1008, approximately 10 miles from the A12 Boreham Interchange at Chelmsford.

From Colchester/Braintree/Halstead:

Follow the A120 from Braintree towards Stansted Airport and Bishops Stortford to the Dunmow South exit, signposted B1008, B184, and Felsted exit.

Turn left towards Barnston and Felsted. Follow the road up the hill past the 'Chapslee' Indian Restaurant on your left to the mini roundabout, turn right into High Easter road and BAFC car park is situated approx 500 yds on the left.

From Chelmsford:

Follow the old A130 (B1008) towards Bishop's Stortford, Stansted Airport and Gt. Dunmow. Passing through the villages of Howe St, Ford End and North End, as you approach Barnston, you will go through a series of sharp bends in the road.

Follow the road up the hill until you come to a mini roundabout. 

Turn left into the High Easter Road. If you pass an Indian Restaurant-public house on your right called 'Chapslee', you've missed your turn.

BAFC car park is situated approx 500 yds on the left.

From M11:

Likewise we are also approximately 10 miles from J8 of the M11. Follow the new A120 from the M11 to Dunmow South, signposted B1008, B184, and Felsted exit.

Turn right towards Barnston and Felsted. Follow the road up the hill past the 'Chapslee' Indian Restaurant on your left to the mini roundabout, turn right into High Easter road and BAFC car park is situated approx 500 yds on the left.
