Directions

For the 2009/10 Season the junior youth section of the club will be playing some home fixtures at the Recreation Ground, Pleshey Road, Ford End CM3 1LF.

Please ensure you check with the team coach to confirm the venue for your match. The rec is 300 yards off the main road on the right hand sand after the last house in Pleshey Road.

The main club is situated at High Easter Road, Barnston, Dunmow, Essex M6 1LZ. Barnston AFC is situated just off the A130 approximately 10 miles from the A12 Boreham Interchange at Chelmsford. Follow the A130 towards Bishop’s Stortford, Stansted Airport and Gt. Dunmow. Passing through the villages of Howe St, Ford End and North End, as you approach Barnston, you will go through a series of sharp bends in the road. Follow the road up the hill. You will pass a Lay- By on your left where there is a Post Box and a Phone Box. Passing Barnston Village Hall on your left, you will come to a mini roundabout. Turn left into the High Easter Road. BAFC car park is situated approx 500 yds on the left. If you pass a public house on your right called the Bushel & Sack Inn, you’ve missed your turn.

Likewise we are also approximately 10 miles from J8 of the M11. Follow the new A120 from the M11 to Dunmow South, signposted A130 & B184 exit. Turn right towards Chelmsford. Follow the road up the hill past the Bushel & Sack Inn on your left to the mini roundabout, turn right into High Easter road and BAFC car park is situated approx 500 yds on the left.
